
A Tracking Plan is the secret to success for any tracking project. Here we will identify and document the specific events and properties we need to capture, along with any external platforms they need to be sent to. This document is what keeps technical and non-technical teams aligned.

With a Tracking Plan as our guide we implement Google Analytics 4 along with Google Tag Manager to start firing all the events needed to support our analytics needs. In additional to implementation we also run a thorough suite of QA testing across every data point to ensure success from the start.

With proper events being collected we then clean and present this data in an optimized dashboard design to highlight potential issues or opportunities. From there we are able to iteratively review and run optimization experiments to improve user experience and conversion rates.
At a bare minimum we will use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. If requirements are more complex we may also utilize Hotjar, Snowplow or Segment.
Typically tracking involved all behaviors visitors perform on your websites. Additionally these systems also include sending this data to other platforms such as Facebook Ads or Google Ads via marketing pixels.
